We went to Title Max looking to get a loan on my car. I called ahead to see how they price out the appraisal on the car and they told us they went through Black Book. We went to the Black Book website and my car (with low miles) came out to around $5000. Yet at Title Max they said they would only give us $1800 for the car, AND they wanted us to pay back $6000 over the next 2 years!! I know they charge high interest, but a $4200 profit for them is absolutely ridiculous!! We obviously decided against taking the loan and I would never recommend them to anybody.
