Once again the banking industry has made an impact on the American public. As credit card rates go higher and higher (sometimes 25%+ for good customers), the bank fees have now gone ballistic. Because of an unanticipated one day delay in an automated checking deposit, I was charges $175 for overdraft checks that somehow were paid by TD Bank in record time.
