Lending Tree took my credit card# for $600 deposit to lock-in rate. Cannot believe what they tell you!!! We were told all was good to go, then got a call the Friday before closing that they could not do loan because of bad appraisal. No reason for such short notice if there really was a problem!!! Very inconsiderate & unprofessional-loan officer never called me, per another loan rep, she was too busy to notify me.
