I have student loans with Sallie Mae and recently began the Income-Based Repayment Option in June 2010. I made my first payment early and every payment since. However, they added a $115 late fee to my account the first month. I called customer service, and the representative says I do not owe a late fee. However, it's still on my account and every month when I receive my on-line bill, lo and behold there it is. I e-mailed them and they replied that it was added before the IBR, but this is not so. I have e-mailed them again and told them to remove this immediately under threat of legal action. How can I deal with them? read full review »
