Breeder Network dog broker
This company, formerly known as Premium Breeders a year ago, and then Breeders Direct a few years before that, looks like it is about to change its name again. The ads have all been changed to dogs that were sold over a year ago, the 800# is gone, and there are complaints in the last few months of both customers and breeders not getting payments from the credit card merchant account at BN.

Breeder Network aka Premium Breeders aka Breeders Direct
The Breeder Network website, which purported to be a company that worked with "only the finest, quality dog breeders, " appears to have become stagnant. This may be a signal that Breeder Network is about to change its name AGAIN.
There was a complaint by a breeder who supplies Breeder Network that they didn't get paid, and also consumer complaints that they have not received promised credit card refunds, both in the past few months. The 800 number has been replaced by a long distance one on the website.

I was searching for information about buying a puppy, and found some apparent realtionships between several websites.
I found some companies with several complaints against them, both at the BBB and on sites like this one. Then I found other newer sites that appear to be related.

Puppy Payments
I am considering getting a puppy, and was looking around the web at different breeds and prices today. I was shocked when I found your website.
You should not allow people to buy puppies if they can't afford to buy the dog. Your company plays into the "pay me later" mentality, but you are doing it with live animals! These aren't cars or a piece of furniture.
Don't you realize that if they can't afford the puppy, they can't afford the veterinary bills? A puppy that costs $1000 may easily require vet... read full review »
