I bought a 3D LCD 120Hz monitor with a DVI port on it. Ecost's site said I could use a HDMI->DVI cable to connect it to my laptop, and in fact suggested it as an add-on. I purchased the monitor and the cable and when it arrived I was told by Viewsonic that the HDMI->DVI cable will not work with 3D and all I would get is 60Hz not120Hz. eCost will not take it back even though they are the ones who said it would work together.
