In July 2010, I paid my regular $82.00 Electric bill that has pretty much been the same rate for 5yrs.That left my account balance @ $0.00.Then my August bill arrived in the amount of $169.00.I was Outraged! I called Allegheny to find out why it doubled and they gave me every kind of BS excuse you can think of.They tried to tell me that because it was hotter this year I am using more electric...I am still using the same 3 window units I have been using for the past 5 yrs and the temperature on them does not change!
