Chase issues credit cards for Pier One. I have a platinum card. I charged $102.66 and paid the amount in full by the due date (through online banking). Chase did not credit the payment until the following day and then charged me a late fee of $10. This past month I charged $765.89 and just received the statement today with a due date of 9/27/2010. There is an interest charge of $8.94 on the balance owed!!! How can one have interest on an account paid in full the month before and then have interest on a new balance not yet due!!!
