It was near L.A., can't remember exactly where the branch was, a well-to-do suburb, in 2003. I had just moved there and wanted to join a gym. i couldn't believe how long this guy talked and how many forms there were. Finally I just said, "Hey, I just wanna join a gym. How much per month?"
