In 2003 we renovated our home and had to have alarm installed in order to get home insurance. I chose ADT due to their supposedly great service and reputation. After having to replace many batteries over time, and after replacing them, we had to test the units to enusre they are working properly, our ears flew off from the nasty sound. We finally decided, we need a new system with a less ear numbing alarm sound and after having had problems with their service repair men and scheduling.
