Some car hit my car while going 40 mph on a local road. The police report clearly identified the other driver at fault and I gave my verbal statement to USAA which they recorded. They told me they will need a similar statement from their insured (the guy who hit my car) - before authorizing the autoshop for repairs. They instruct me to get an estimate from the shop and i do that as well. I have called USAA several times to see if they have been in touch and its been over 10 days.
