I purchased three products from Whirlpool all were the Whirlpool Gold series. The stove and microwave convection hood were purchased on June 17, 2007 and the Refrigerator was purchased the same year in July. After three months the Microwave stopped working and they were kind enough to replace it. Here we are three years later and the warranties expired and so we decided to purchase an extended warranty as we had many mailings from Whirlpool to do so.
