I deposited two checks on 09/07 at the drive-thru and the teller gave me a receipt...for my total deposit and I went on my way. Four days later I received a letter from BOA that they are taking the funds back from one of those checks because the check was "lost". Lost? I didn't deposit it in a machine, I deposited with a human being. After numerous calls and visits to my local branch, I am being told that it was lost in transit, in a machine that handles over 7 million checks a day, and they will not refund my money.
