After dealing with Dayton Freight with damaged freight, I would not recommend them. The inspection report from a "third party" showed a picture of the freight stacked on top of another piece of freight, causing even more damage then originally caused. The inspection report was not well done, and the sides of the crates at the impact sites were not even removed for inspection for damage. In my opinion, the lack of a thorough inspection was for the benefit of the freight line by not exposing more potential damage. read full review »
