Just received letter from Palisades Collection. The debtor company is a car loan I had over 15 years ago & the debt is well past the statue of limitations (4 years in Calif - check your state). When they finally answer the phone after 10 minutes their rep confirmed the debt was from 1988. I explained the debt was uncollectable. She tried to convince me it was.
