I do not recommend buying this top-loading washing machine. Our machine was purchased in 2006. Coins slip into the bottom of the drum and break the water pump. The first time it happened (2008), the repairman found almost $3 in coins - some had entered the pump and cracked it. Of course, this was the day after we had put down a new rug. Even though I am vigilant about checking pockets, the problem occurred again and this time the pump got clogged with three pennies. Needless to say, this is a clear design flaw and should be addressed by the manufacturer. In the meantime, buyer beware! read full review »
