In May 2010, I logged on to my online Chase Mortgage account and changed electronic fund transfer dates from the beginning to the middle of the month. Chase did not delete the beginning of the month schedule and therefore began effecting transfers twice/month. Effectively, I was making 2 mortgage payments per month. I noticed this error in August 2010 and called Chase to refund to me the overpayments. They asked me to provide bank statements showing that Chase received the transfers.
