The Flip Ultra HD Model U212OW is a defective product because it cannot be properly recharged after drainage of the battery. All sorts of error messages ensue. It was bought in Dec. 2009 as a holiday present. Until August I put up with the inconvenience of having to remove the batteries from the camcorder and reinserting them before every recharge.
