Letter carriers routinely mace dogs upon approach. This is a cruel and misguided practice. Dog attacks are dramatic, but they are also infrequent. Why don't they wear protective gear if they are in such great danger? Can you imagine if police behaved this way?? What's worse is there is no due process. The supervisor laughed when I claimed the dog was only sniffing. The USPS regards all dogs as a danger and threat. My dog was attacked by a carrier for sniffing his foot. His tail was wagging! He weighs 12 pounds. The USPS does not deserve our business. read full review »
