I purchased a new Sony TV in 12/13/2008, did not remove it from the box until May of 2009 as this was for my cabin and didn't used the cabin until May. The TV probably had about 50 hours on it and it wouldn't turn on. I called Nebraska Furniture Mart and they told me to call the warranty folks that handle the warranty as I purchased a 5 year extented in house coverge for 149.00 dollars.
