When making an online purchase for airtime at net10.com, I received a message stating there was a service error and directing me to call net10 customer support. This message was received after I had entered in all of my billing information. I called net10 and made sure to inform them clearly that I only wanted to be billed for the purchase one time, as I had no way of telling if the purchase had gone through or not.
