I own a small business and we have a customer in Canada. This customer pays us by check, in US dollars, but from a Canadian bank. We have been depositing their checks in our Wachovia account for several years. Typically Wachovia has deposited these checks in a week or less. With our last check it took these crooks 8 weeks to deposit the check. How do you think they would react if someone help up their funds for 8 weeks? Kind of tough to run a business when my bank acts like a common thug with a gun to my head. Needless to say I am looking for a new bank. Wachovia is now part of Wells Fargo.
