I have purchased a new Toyota Fortuner in October 2008. I ordered the Furtuner with a tow bar and I asked the Toyota dealer if the problems with towing was sorted out. They assured me that the problem was sorted out. I purchased I Jurgens Penta caravan and then realized that the car was swerving quite a lot. A contacted Toyota and they said that the tires were faulty and that they will replace it with Generals again (this is what it was sold with) I had to pay for the km that I used on the tires.
