I don't even know where to start! I feel like I have been fighting a losing battle for over a year now. I applied for a home loan modification last July, 2009 when my husband lost his job. We were approved and were sent the final paperwork, signed and returned it via Fed ex. We made payments at our normal rate and upon receiving our interest statement for 2009 for income tax return, I noticed that it showed we had only made two payments the entire year.
