I ordered a 48 port patch pane with built in LED indicators and 3-1000' rolls of Cat5e. After running the cable and terminating the jacks, I used my personal network tester to test my lines and kept getting readings saying there were shorts and miswirings. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled - about 2700' of cable laid and now I'm thinking I have bad cable and would have to do it again...
