Beware of Amerisave.com. The loan rates on the site are not what they actually offer and they use high pressure sales and say you are "pre-approved" to get you to commit to the expensive appraisal so you are locked into working with them. The representative will be vague with you on the phone and keep telling you that your are "pre-approved so everything will be fine.
