All five years I was a customer of Charter Communications, I was badgered by promotions through the mail and on my telephone. Big deal to include digital phone (I resisted), but when they offered a slight discount if I'd agree to a 2-year "price guarantee" I decided to look into it. I went to their sales office and was given the spiel. When I looked over the agreement they wanted me to sign I noticed an early termination clause. Do not believe it when B of A says they back your transactions. Now for the second time a merchant ripped me off and after taking my statement B of A found for the merchant. The recent one is for Vision Star, Inc., Los Angeles (DBA HomeStarSearch.com) where their monthly fee continued after I requested ending the service. The earlier one was worse... I allowed Sterling Optical to charge over $600 for new glasses. They never produced nor delivered them to me.
