While driving a Ryder truck, I was cited by the Indiana State Police for operating a vehicle with an expired fuel permit. A contact at the St. Charles location from where the vehicle originated and the general manager from the leasing site told me to turn the ticket in to Ryder with my paperwork and they would handle its settlement. I did. Two years later, a collection agency billed me for $178.15 for non-payment.
