One of my students, who does not speak English as a first language, received a call back in March claiming she ordered 8 different magazines for 5 years. She then received a notice in June for payment, and since they do not seem to have her credit card number (or at least the correct one), they say that she owes them $1448.84 but could settle the dispute for $579.54.
