I purchased my Acer Aspire 1410 with 11" screen 2GB RAM and 250 HD in April 2010. By Aug 2010, the hard drive crashed and I tried to recover the system using the "recovery" DVDs that were produced on the startup. From that point on, the system would not recover and I tried to get a repair ticket through the online support. I could not get any response because according to Acer, I did not register my laptop.
