I bought a pair of Caribbean Sun sunglasses about 5 months ago. They were $68 and offered glass lenses which in other brands have proven much less prone to scratches than plastic lenses. I dropped them once about 2 months later and got a big scratch in the right lens. Putting up with it awhile, I walked into a restaurant and the lens literally fell out of my glasses and hit the floor. It shattered one corner and created spider cracks throughout the lens.
