I bought a Maytag Neptune washer six years ago. I just paid a repairman $100.00 for him to tell me that it would take $700.00 to fix the thing because the bearings went out and the whole tub would have to be replaced. That was how much I originally paid for the machine! What happened to going green? Why can't manufacturers make a product that will last a reasonable time.
