I booked a stay at Animal Kingdom for 5 days - but could not come in on Friday because they did not have rooms available for me on Friday. So, I will stay at the DoubleTree in Downtown Disney for just Friday night. Disney is supposed to transport my family from the Orlando airport to Disney for free. But, this only applies if you come in on the day of your stay - even if you could not get a room at Disney. I asked them to take me from the airport to Animal Kingdom - they also said no. So, I will pay the extra $50 to get to the DoubleTree, but as a person of principle, this will be my last trip to Disney! read full review »
