For several months, I've been telemarketing calls that begin with a automated greeting instructing to "Press 1 for your last chance to obtain lower rates on your credit cards or press 2 to be removed from the list." I pressed 2 to be removed from the list on the first 5 calls I received from this telemarketer. This action was obviously not effective in removing my number from the ist.
