We bought our BRAND new Samsung TV at the Big Screen Store in April of 2009. The TV we bought is LN52A550P3FXZA. At the same time we bought a 3-year warranty from AMT Warranty Corporation. If I remember correctly the price was about $300. Our TV stopped working July 2010, this is past the 1 year warranty provided by Samsung. So AMT Warranty is supposed to take care of the repair.
