I purchased a Hewlett Parkard model m8100n, running Vista, and an AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual-Core Processor 5600+, several years ago. I have not had this computer opertating correctly for more than three weeks, at a time, without having it crash! There are problems during startup and continual blue screens, while in windows. The hard drive has been reformatted twice, starting with a clean slate, each time. I have utilized Microsoft and Hp support along with third party software(Registry Mechanic, Error Fix, etc).
