My bank informed me this morning that I had a charge of $49.98 made through an electronic check and of course I was furious! I immediately called the hotline that my bank provided and spoke to a third party customer center. Apparently it was a bonus offer from a payday loan I have applied for a few weeks back. I told her that I didn’t intend to apply for a membership with them so she offered cancellation which is a good thing, and told me that I won’t be charged again.
