I received an invitation to obtain a card from a "new bank in the neighborhood". It was supposedly about 10 miles away. It would have $1, 000 cap with 14% interest. After I used it for a total of about $300, the limit suddenly dropped to $400, and the interest went to 29%. Calls resulted in someone saying that Orchard was a front for a bank in China. I cut it up and sent payment to the local address. Three years later, I get calls from North Dakota and upstate New York area codes asking why I stopped paying last year and that my balance is now $10, 000. read full review »
