We have been longtime customers of a local bank which originally was Great Western, then Washington Mutual and now Chase. In all those years we never received or requested information in Spanish. When Chase took over the bank we started receiving information addressed to us in Spanish. What is upsetting is that they automatically assumed that we spoke Spanish based on our name and placed us on their bilingual list.
