I bought a GMC from the dealer, about 2 years ago, and they told me then that I had a warrenty on my truck for 5 years. Then when the truck had problems the warrenty ran out. He said the truck had 5 years, and it ran out as it was a 2005 GMC truck and it was 2010. He didn't tell me that it was five years for the truck, when I asked him, he said all people know if you buy a used truck the warrenty is what the truck had on it.
