We purchased a 64, 000.00 home and 49, 000.00 property in June of 09.We didn't need building permits but had to have the septic system checked since we were hooking to an existing tank (we paid out of pocket for inspection) . We leveled the site ourselves, the septic was already on site and we stubbed it up, driveway and parking slab already intact, we ran the water lines from the well (which was already operable also) ourselves, ran our own underground electrical conduit and set our own post for the meter.
