Three years ago I had Time Warner Cable. Apparently TW subsidizes its technical work with local vendors. I had a poor experience doing business with TW because every month my bill got higher and higher, and when I called to complain about the charges which sometimes were three times the cost of my regular bill, they refused to acknowledge they were wrong. So, I cancelled my service with them. But they only took the cable boxes and refused to detach the cable wire still active on my house.
