Due to a banking error (on the part of PNC), my checking account was overdrawn and charged $300 in overdraft penalties and fees. I went to my local branch and sat down with a clerk, and he couldn't find at any point where my account should have been overdrawn. He quickly agreed to deduct all overdraft and penalties on the account, but he had to have the manager sign off.
