I bank at Wells Fargo and had made payments to WFAF over the phone so they had my routing and account numbers. After 3 years of making payments, I became late [over 30 days] on my payment and asked them for an extension due to my moving and incurring extraordinary expenses related to the move. They told me I HAD to make a payment and would not work with me. I got paid on the 1st and on the 2nd they cleaned out my bank account for $821.
