We have a mortgage with GMAC since 2006. Many instances have occurred where GMAC has either failed to process our extra principal correctly (putting it to the PIT instead of principal) or delaying or losing our extra principal payment. On top of that, there have been times when the statement/invoice for the upcoming month's payment either does not get to us, or gets to us around the 3rd week of the month before payment.
