I have a Kenmore range purchased from Sears. One of the red plastic light indicators that are on the range next to the control nobs broke off inside and the electrical terminal that was attached to it fell back against the metal shielding that enclosed the back of the range. This caused an electrical fire that thankfully ended quickly because my breaker flipped off but it did burn out the back of my oven and it cannot be used at this point.
