I purchased a 2004 VW beetle from a small car lot, the car is wonderful, couldn't ask for a better vehicle. They financed me through a company called credit acceptance. Since then the lot went out of business . 07/01/2010 I sent them $2, 171 as my final payment. I still have no lien release. On four separate occasions after sending the money I was told repeatedly that they were sending the release every time.
