TD Ameritrade's ThinkorSwim traders engaged in Unauthorized Trading in a customer's account and wiped out his entire retirement portfolio. When probed by FINRA, TD Ameritrade's lawyers (whose client list includes Bernard Madoff associates) lied to FINRA investigators and committed fraud in arbitration in order to conceal their wrongdoing and get the investor's claims dismissed.
