Bank of America (BOA) Insurance Scam. I found out in 11/2007 that BOA was debiting $20 a month from my account. I was surprised to find out they had been debiting it for over 2 years. I called BOA to get the number to the creditor and they told me it was Smart Step and gave me their number. I called and told them I did not order anything from them and had not received and accidental life policy.
