I was given a Sony Reader as a Christmas gift by my wife in 2009. Less than a year later, the Reader is no longer working. When I called the repair service center I was first told that I would have to pay the cost of labor to repair the device. I was not happy about that but was willing to pay. After they took all my information I was asked to give the serial number which is supposedly on a sticker on back of the device.
